1. Who We Are
Sophentropy is a trading name of LN2 Technologies Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). We operate the verifiable entropy API at sophentropy.com. LN2 Technologies Ltd is the data controller.

2. What Data We Collect
Waitlist & Account Data:
- Email address (waitlist signup, account creation)
- Name (optional, provided during signup)
- API usage preferences and configuration settings
Usage Data:
- API request logs (endpoint, timestamp, response size)
- IP address and approximate location
- Browser/device info (dashboard access)
- Error logs and performance metrics
Payment Data:
We use Stripe as our payment processor. Card details are transmitted directly to Stripe and never stored on our servers. We receive limited billing information (last 4 digits, card type, billing address) for invoicing and fraud prevention.

4. Who We Share It With
No data sales. Shared only with:
- AWS — cloud hosting/storage
- Stripe — payments
- Email provider — transactional emails
All processors are GDPR/UK compliant with data processing agreements.
5. Data Retention
- Waitlist emails: Until unsubscribe/deletion request
- API logs: Per plan tier (7 days – 2 years)
- Account data: Subscription duration + 90 days
- Billing records: 6 years (UK accounting law)
6. Your GDPR Rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection

7. Cookies
Essential cookies only (session/security). No advertising cookies.
8. Security
TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit, AES-256 at rest. API keys hashed. Regular security audits.
9. International Transfers
AWS data may be processed outside UK/EEA under Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Policy Changes
Material changes notified by email to users. Continued use = acceptance.
